A fresh update to an old time favorite - Baked Beans and Franks

1/2 | cup | chopped onion | |
|
|||
6 | hot dogs, cut crosswise into 1/2- inch slices | ||

1 | can | (16 ounce) chili beans | |
|
|||
1 | can | (15 ounce) pork and beans | |
|
|||
1 | can | (15 ounce) black beans, rinsed and drained | |
|
|||
1 | can | (10 ounce) diced tomatoes and green chilies, drained | |
|
|||
1/3 | cup | brown sugar | |
|
|||
1 | teaspoon | prepared yellow mustard | |
|
|||
1/4 | teaspoon | celery seed | |
|
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Saute onion and hot dogs in butter until tender; pour into 2- quart casserole.
Add chili beans, pork and beans, black beans, tomatoes and chiles, brown sugar, mustard and celery seed; stir to combine.
Bake uncovered for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Can be served as a side dish or as a dip.
